2009 Demolition Derby
Another successful derby under my Dad's belt! He's been participating in demo derby's for 5+ years, and each year is as fun as the last!! This year he only ran a truck, a truck in which he transformed from 'The Red Rocket' to this blue bad boy.. 
He spent many weekends gutting the inside, taking safety precautions, and making sure all regulations were followed. 
After we painted it, he was ready to rumble! 
This year's derby was July 24th, a Friday night. We usually have quite the crowd of friends, and family gathered to watch and this year was no exception!
We had signs, an air horn and plenty of loud voices ready to cheer him on! Our family friend, Joe, was also competing this year, but not in the same class. They both did very well, their vehicles lasted quite awhile, but they were unable to finish in a qualifying place. (Dad was so close-4th place!) Way to go boys!
